Getting started
What this is, what it costs to try, and what the first twenty minutes look like.
Do I need to be a qualified coach to use this?+
No. The ten domains are the same whether you hold a UEFA A licence or you took the under-9s because nobody else would. Most of the people this is built for are volunteers.
How long does the first assessment take?+
About twenty minutes, and it is worth doing in one sitting away from a session. It is the baseline every later reading is compared against, so a rushed one costs you for a season.
What if I only coach one session a week?+
That is the majority of grassroots football and the product assumes it. The weekly check-in is five minutes and the session reflection is a few structured fields, not an essay.
Is there a free version?+
Yes. There are free tools including the Coaching Archetype Quiz and the Blind Spot Identifier, and they need no payment details.
Where do I actually start once I have an account?+
The Coach Profiler. Everything else reads from it: your development plan, your trends, and the report a club sees if you choose to share.
Coaches

What actually happens if my two scores disagree?+
The product shows you both and says so. It does not average them, because a July reading of 87 and a November reading of 56 average to 66, which describes no coach and hides the only interesting thing in the pair.
Can my club see everything I write?+
No. Sharing is off by default and is per coach. A Head Coach only ever sees what you have chosen to share, and never sees your private notes or reflections.
Do you tell me what kind of coach I am?+
Deliberately not. Labels of that sort read well and connect to nothing: they cannot be practised, measured or improved. You get the ten domains, which can be all three.
What is the difference between a session reflection and a style reflection?+
A session reflection is about the practice: what you planned, what happened, what you would change. A style reflection is about you: how you spoke, when you intervened, what you did when it went wrong.
Head Coaches

What can I see about my coaches?+
Only what each coach has chosen to share, and never their private notes or reflections. A coach who has not shared does not appear in the club figures at all, and the club reports say how many are missing so you are not reading a partial picture as a complete one.
Can I change what a development phase means for our club?+
Yes, and you should. The built-in phases are one academy’s reading of the game. You can define your own phases: the ages, the game format, the areas you assess, your own words for them, how much evidence a judgement needs, and the guidance each phase gives to players, coaches and parents.
Why do the club reports refuse to show me numbers sometimes?+
Because in a small squad an aggregate describes one child. Below five assessed players the club audit holds its figures back and says so, rather than publishing something that identifies an individual inside a governance document.
Do I get a different report depending on what I need it for?+
Yes. Coach development shows patterns across a squad and whether session planning matches what players need. Club audit shows aggregated trends and data quality. Welfare and inclusion shows minutes and check-ins with no assessment in it at all. Planning shows what has been coached against what your phases say should be.

How much is it for a club?+
It depends on how many coaches you have, and it falls per coach as that number rises. We quote against your actual numbers rather than publishing a rate card, because a printed figure anchors the conversation before anyone has asked what you need.
Can we see it before we commit?+
Yes. There is a read-only demo account with a full season of fictional data in it, and a written proposal and walkthrough before any money changes hands.
What happens when a coach leaves?+
Their own profile is theirs and goes with them. What the club keeps is the club-level picture they consented to contribute to, which is the part that would otherwise walk out of the door with them.
Parents
What you see about your own child, and how you get in.
What do I actually see?+
Your own child, and only your own child: their development as five stages, the goals the coach has set, training and match dates with an RSVP, appearances and minutes, any certificates, and a message thread with the coach.
Why is there no score?+
Because a number invites a comparison between children that helps nobody, and the child on the wrong end of that comparison is somebody whose parent is reading it. Development is described in five stages, and every stage comes with what would help next.
Can I share photographs in the group chat?+
No, and that is deliberate. The chat is text only, and no photograph of any child is stored anywhere on the platform.
How do I get access?+
Through your club. Your coach gives you a code for your own child, and the link only becomes live once the coach has confirmed it is you. Everything a parent sees originates in a coach entry, so parent access needs the club to be on the platform first.
What is the check-in after a session for?+
It is nine short questions you ask your child, not a test of them. It records how the session felt from their side, and it is described back to you rather than graded. Three low answers in a row is a prompt for a conversation, not a verdict.
Player development
Assessments, stages, challenges and what the platform will not do.
How does a player get from one stage to the next?+
By meeting the target set for them repeatedly in real sessions and real games. A challenge is counted as achieved when it has been met ten times, which is deliberately harder than doing it once in a drill.
Does the platform tell me who my best players are?+
No. There is nothing anywhere that ranks one child against another, and there is no code path that reads a second child’s data while building a report about the first. That is a design decision, not a setting.
What if I have only assessed a player once?+
The report says so. One observation produces "limited evidence" and a sentence explaining that it is a starting point rather than a settled view. Your club sets the thresholds for what counts as enough.
Why does a report say "not yet recorded" instead of leaving it out?+
Because a missing area reads as an area the child is bad at. Naming it as unrecorded is the honest version, and it tells a coach what to watch for next.
Reports and data
What is in a report, where each line comes from, and how to get your data out.
Where does each line in a report come from?+
Every insight carries a source line. It says whether the coach wrote it, whether the system worked it out from the data, whether it is club guidance that applies to every player in the phase, or whether it comes from an academy resource. A system suggestion is never presented as something a coach said.
Can I get my data out?+
Yes. Your assessments, reflections and notes are yours, and you can export or delete them.
What is the number on the development wheel?+
An average of the individual things assessed inside that area, out of one hundred. It is not a grade and it is not a comparison with anybody else. What it means for a particular child is set out area by area underneath it.
Can a parent see the coach-only analysis?+
No. The coach-only material is never fetched by the parent-facing report at all, rather than fetched and hidden, so it cannot leak through a rendering mistake.
Calendar and notifications
Sessions, fixtures, RSVPs and what lands in an inbox.
Do parents see what a session is about?+
Yes, where the coach has recorded objectives and coaching points. A parent who knows the session is about first touch can ask a better question in the car afterwards than "did you win".
Can parents reply to a fixture?+
Yes. Each session and match carries an RSVP, and the coach sees the responses against the squad list.
What emails will I get?+
A weekly roundup if you have opted in, and nothing else automatic. There is no daily nudge and no streak email, because a product that guilts a volunteer into logging in has misunderstood what it is for.
Can I put the fixtures in my own calendar?+
Yes. The season calendar exports as a standard calendar file that Apple, Google and Outlook all read.
Privacy, safeguarding and permissions
Consent, photographs, who can see what, and how to raise a concern.
Who owns what I write?+
You do. Your assessments, reflections and notes are yours, and you can export or delete them.
Do you store photographs of children?+
No. Not in the player records, not in the parent chat, not anywhere. The message table has no attachment column, so it is not a setting somebody could change by accident.
Can a player be added without consent?+
No. The record cannot be created without recording who gave consent and their relationship to the child.
What happens if I delete a player?+
Everything about them goes with the record: assessments, notes, attendance and certificates.
How does a parent raise a welfare concern?+
Every parent screen carries a welfare route as well as a coach route, and it is always shown rather than hidden behind a menu. If your club has named a welfare officer their details appear there; if not, the club contact is shown instead.
Can one parent see another family’s child?+
No. A parent link is to one named child, granted by the coach, and every parent-facing query is bounded by the children that parent is linked to.
Billing and payment

What does it cost a coach?+
Basic is 9.99 pounds and Premium is 19.99 pounds. Parent access, where a club offers it, is 1.99 pounds a month per player.
Is there a refund if it is not for me?+
There is a seven-day money-back guarantee on the individual tiers, no questions asked.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?+
It is not deleted. You lose access to the tools, not to what you wrote, and you can export it.
Who pays for parent access?+
The club decides. Some clubs carry it as part of subscriptions and some pass it on. Either way it is per player, not per parent, so two parents of the same child do not pay twice.
