Why
The empty boxes are the moments you have thought about least, which makes them the useful ones. It is also what turns a match report into a question with an answer.
The mistake most coaches make
Writing what you believe rather than what you actually do. A philosophy that says "we play out from the back" when you kick long every time it rains is not a philosophy, it is an aspiration, and every match report measured against it will read as failure. Write what happens.
