For clubs, academies, colleges and universities

Every platform measures
the player.
This one measures
the coach.

Coach Profile gives a Head of Coaching one honest picture of every coach on the staff: what they say about themselves, what a season of their own logs says back, and the gap between the two. Built on 10 competency domains and 12 theoretical frameworks, by a Director of Coach Development.

What the report then does

Communication: 31 points apart. The Profiler puts it at 82. A season of your own session logs puts it at 51. Coach Profile shows you both and never averages them, because a mean of 82 and 51 is 66, a number describing no coach and hiding the only interesting thing in the data.

Every other platform measures the player. This is the one screen they cannot produce, because they never measure the coach twice.

What Coaches Say

Real coaches. Real development.

Coach Profile is used by coaches across 30+ countries: from grassroots to elite academy level.

It's given me a clear insight into my strengths, as well as the areas I can continue to develop. More importantly, it's helped me reflect on how I can improve the impact I have on the players, coaches, and people I work with every day. A great tool for anyone genuinely committed to becoming a better coach.

It's what the industry needs: an honest assessment of yourself. It's got a lot of mileage in establishing where you are, supported by excellent research and a clear way forward.

The peer benchmarking was the real eye-opener. Seeing where I sit against coaches at my qualification level, that's the kind of honest feedback that actually drives real development.

Club licensing

You know which of your coaches turn up.
This tells you how they coach.

Session attendance, qualifications and years of service describe a coaching staff without saying anything about the coaching. Coach Profile gives you the same ten domains for every coach on the payroll, the evidence behind each number, and a defensible answer to where the development budget should go.

Your whole staff, one framework

Every coach assessed against the same 10 domains and 12 frameworks, so a conversation about development stops being a conversation about personalities.

Evidence, not impressions

Structured session observations a coach can reply to, engagement over time, and the disagreements between what a coach says and what their own logs say.

Built for audit

Reflections, observations and player development reviews are dated, attributable and exportable, which is the shape an EPPP or safeguarding audit asks for.

Consent by design

A coach chooses to share their report with the club, and can withdraw it. You see engagement either way. Nothing is shared quietly.

One code, whole staff on

Licences are issued in bulk and redeemed with a club access code. No per-seat admin, no spreadsheet of who has signed up.

No photographs, ever

Player records hold development data and consent, never images. The club badge is the only picture the product stores.

Grassroots clubs, academies, colleges and universities

Tell us how many coaches you have and what you are trying to fix. You get a written proposal and a walkthrough of the Head Coach view before you commit to anything.

The platform

Eighteen tools, one coaching picture

Every tool writes into the same ten domains. Nothing is a standalone quiz, and nothing here is averaged with anything else: where two tools disagree about a coach, the product says so and shows both numbers.

Who I am

The coach, measured twice, and never averaged.

Coach Profiler

100 questions across 10 competency domains, mapped to 12 theoretical frameworks. One sitting, about 20 minutes.

Profiler report

Domain scores, competency tier, peer benchmark and a development plan. Downloadable as a branded PDF.

My Coaching Report

Every tool in one place. Where two instruments disagree about a domain, it says so rather than taking the mean.

Playing PhilosophyNew

Twelve sentences: four moments of the game across three thirds of the pitch. Nothing here is scored, and nothing is prefilled.

Development plan

A 90-day plan built from the gaps the profiler found, broken into steps that appear in the calendar.

How I coach

What happens on the grass, logged while it is fresh.

Session Reflections

Eight sections per session: topic, four-corner delivery, the FA principles of play, pitch area and how it felt. They stack into patterns a single week cannot show.

Coach Delivery Assessment

A 30-spectrum profile of how you actually deliver, from instruction to guided discovery.

Coach Trends

A weekly behavioural check-in across the same 10 domains, so the profiler gets a second opinion from the middle of a season.

Style Reflections

Twelve themes of coaching practice rated after a session, each mapped to the academic framework behind it.

Season calendar

Training weeks, match days and reflection deadlines in one view, with a 48-hour revisit prompt on every reflection.

Who I coach

The squad, without a single photograph stored.

Squad and player development

Five corners, ten criteria each, scored per review date, so progress is the difference between two dates rather than an opinion.

Match DayNew

Fixtures, attendance, minutes, goals for and against, and the instruction you gave before kick-off.

Match reportsNew

The report asks which moments of your declared philosophy the game actually gave you evidence about, and stays silent about the rest.

Player notes

Talk or type about the squad and it separates what you said about each player from what you said about the team.

My club

What a Head of Coaching can see, and only with consent.

Head Coach view

Your coaching staff across the same ten domains, with engagement over time and the gaps a development budget should answer.

Observations

Structured session observations that the coach can reply to. Drafts never reach the person being written about.

Shared goals and nudges

A goal a coach chooses to share, the steps under it, and a way for a Head Coach to say something useful about it.

Club feed

Session plans, voice notes and files shared with the staff, in the place they already open rather than in an inbox.

Also included: the season calendar, a weekly roundup email, downloadable branded reports for coach and player, a jargon buster, and plain-English guides to all 12 frameworks.

The dashboard

Ten domains, two instruments, never averaged

The Coach Profiler asks a coach to rate themselves away from a session. Coach Trends captures how they rated themselves in the middle of one. This screen puts both numbers side by side and shows the gap.

Why it matters: the disagreement is the coaching conversation. A single score tells a coach what they already believe about themselves.

Playing Philosophy

Twelve sentences you can be held to

Four moments of the game across three thirds of the pitch. Nothing is prefilled and nothing is scored: there is no right philosophy, which is why the workshop this came from uses four managers who disagree with each other.

Why it matters: the empty boxes are the moments a coach has thought about least, which makes them the useful ones. It is also what turns a match report into a question with an answer.

Match reportAway (H) · 2 : 1

This match gave you evidence about 2 of the four moments. It cannot tell you whether the other two went to plan.

Match Day and match reports

The result is a fact, not a mark for your philosophy

Fixtures, attendance, minutes and goals, then a report that checks the game against what the coach declared. Where a match produced no evidence about a moment, it says so and stays quiet rather than inventing a verdict.

Why it matters: it is the only place a coach's stated intentions meet what actually happened on a Saturday, without a scoreline standing in for both.

Session Reflections

One session tells you nothing. Twenty tell you everything

Eight sections per session: topic, the four corners, the FA principles of play, pitch area and how it felt. A 48-hour prompt then asks what the coach thinks now that the feeling has cleared, which is a different answer from the one they gave on the night.

Why it matters: the pattern is invisible inside any single week, and it is the thing that actually changes what a coach does next Tuesday.

Head Coach view

Your whole staff on one framework

Every coach against the same ten domains, engagement over time, structured observations they can reply to, and shared goals. Consent is explicit and withdrawable, and the interface says so on the coach's side too.

Why it matters: it turns a development budget from a guess into a decision you can defend to a board, and it is exportable when an audit asks.

Squad and player development

Development you can show a parent

Each player reviewed across five corners on a set cadence, with a downloadable report for the player and the family. Consent is enforced by the database rather than by a checkbox, and no photograph is stored anywhere in the platform.

Why it matters: “he has improved” is an opinion. Two dated reviews and the gap between them is evidence, and it is the conversation parents actually want.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How long does the assessment take?
Around 20-25 minutes. It's 100 questions across 10 competency domains: a mix of reflective sliders and scenario-based questions. Your progress is auto-saved, so if you need to pause and return later, you won't lose your place.
When do I get my report?
Immediately. Your report is generated and available in your dashboard within 60 seconds of submitting your answers. You can download the full PDF right away: no waiting, no email confirmation needed.
What's the difference between Basic and Premium?
Both include the full 100-question assessment, domain score breakdown, radar chart, peer benchmark, and a 12-month development plan. Premium adds deep-dive analysis for all 5 competency clusters, domain interaction analysis, extended benchmarking, and four ongoing development tools: Session Reflections, Coach Style Reflections, Coach Trends, and My Coaching Report: to track your growth across the season.
Does it matter what level I coach at?
Not at all. During the intake process you'll tell us your age group and qualification level, and the assessment adapts to your context. Whether you coach grassroots, semi-pro, or elite academy, you'll receive results that are relevant and actionable for where you are right now.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored securely via Supabase, and never shared with third parties. You have full GDPR rights, including the right to request deletion of your data at any time. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Can I retake the assessment later?
Yes. A reassessment option is available at a reduced rate so you can track your development over time and see how your scores evolve. This is accessible from your dashboard once you've completed your initial assessment.
